Jozef Miškolci earned his doctoral degree in education at the University of Sydney in Australia in 2014. Within this doctoral research, he dealt with the issues of inclusive education and distributed school leadership in public primary schools in Slovakia and Australia (New South Wales). Jozef also obtained an MA in gender studies at the Central European University in Budapest in 2005, and bachelor's degree in political science and international relations at the Charles University in Prague in 2004.
He specialises in research into inclusive education, comparative education, educational policy, and gender equality in education. Jozef worked in the non-profit sector (Žába na prameni, o.s.; 2005-2007), public administration sector (Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic; 2007-2010), and tertiary education sector (The University of Sydney; 2013). At present, he works as a researcher in the Slovak Governance Institute and at the Faculty of Education of the Comenius University in Bratislava.
Jozef works for the "Learning Makes Sense" project at MESA10 as a analyst specializing in the field of pre-service teacher education and further education for teachers.
