Miroslava Hapalová graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at the Comenius University in Bratislava, majoring in psychology. For eight years she worked as the director of the People in Need branch in Slovakia, an NGO dealing with the inclusion of socially excluded Roma communities, particularly in employment, housing and education. She has participated in the development of several policies related to the integration of Roma people, and the development of social services and education in the field. She is a co-author of several publications and analyses dealing with inclusive education, as well as publications and guidance documents related to social services in the field.
She works for the "Learning Makes Sense" project at MESA10 as a analyst specializing in the field of individualised support of all learners.
