Methodology
The “Learning Makes Sense” project, implemented by MESA10 and in progress since 2016, is a response to the deteriorating quality of the education system in Slovakia. Its intention is to prepare a proposal for overall education reform from pre-primary to tertiary level. The objective is to change the education system in such a way as to reduce inequalities, address the needs and develop the potential of all learners as much as possible, and prepare learners to succeed in their personal, civic, and professional life. In order to prepare an evidence-based reform proposal, the project included an extensive analysis of the major problems in the Slovak education system, together with their causes.
